No Angels – the iconic German girl group – was born in 2000 through the first season of the pop stars casting show. The original members, Nadja Benaissa, Lucy Diakovska, Sandy Mölling, Vanessa Petruo and Jessica Wahls, laid the foundation for their remarkable journey.
As early as 2001, the No Angels stormed the top of the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with their first single “Daylight in Your Eyes” and the album “Elle’ments”. But in 2003 came the temporary end for the group. A comeback followed in 2007, but without Vanessa Petruo. After Benaissa’s departure in September 2010, the No Angels continued their musical journey as a trio until the final separation in 2014.
They marked the band’s 20th anniversary in 2021 with their latest album “20”, which went straight to number one in the German album charts. With more than five million records sold, four number one hits in the German singles charts and four number one albums in the German album charts, the No Angels remain the undisputed top among German girl groups and even the most successful girl group in continental Europe.
Their repertoire includes 19 singles, six studio albums, two live albums and four acclaimed tours. These exceptional talents have been rewarded with over 20 music awards for their undeniable dedication and quality.
