Veysel is not just any rapper – his voice has a distinctive sound that captivates you and with which he plays skillfully. One moment he sings catchy melodies, the next moment he makes tough announcements.
The musician grew up in Essen-Altendorf and got to know the stories of the problem district up close. He found himself in the songs of 2Pac and Notorious B.I.G. and started rapping himself.
His first track “Lieben und Hassen” will be heard by Haftbefehl, who is currently in the process of setting up his own label in Frankfurt.
This is how Veysel gets his first record deal and releases the first mixtape “43 Therapie” in 2013, which enters the charts at number 23.
His debut album “Audiovisuell” was only a year in coming and landed at number 17 in the charts after its release.
After that, it becomes musically quieter around Veysel, because a new chapter begins.
The rapper will be part of the cast of the TNT Original series “4 Blocks”, which tells the story of an Arab family clan from Berlin-Neukölln involved in organized crime.
The series receives numerous awards, such as the “Grimme Prize” and the “Golden Camera” and Veysel is suddenly no longer just a rapper, but also an actor.
In 2017, he released the album »Hitman« through his newly founded own label Bela Boyz – his first musical sign of life after three years. The combination of Veysel’s distinctive voice and rhythmic-melodic compositions by Joshimixu and Macloud creates songs that fit perfectly into the zeitgeist. »Hitman« landed at number 7 in the German album charts.
In November 2018, his third solo album “Fuego“ followed, on which rap stars such as Summer Cem, Gzuz, Soolking and ElGrandeToto were represented as guest musicians and which he presented live in the course of the tour of the same name. With “Habibo” and “Uff”, two songs from the album landed in the top 10 of the German single charts.
Further collaborations followed, such as the album “Blei” together with Kontra K. The record received gold.
Four years after his bestselling record “Hitman”, he will release the follow-up “Hitman 2” in November 2021. It includes the chart singles “Bobby”, “Schießen” or “Nur aus Prinzip”.
Together with The Cratez & Gzuz, the song “Riesenjoints” is released in April 2022, which makes it to number 25 in the charts.
