01099 are the hip-hop/pop act of the sustainability generation. Without sexism in the lyrics, an attitude to life is conveyed that hits the nerve of our time.
The boys have known each other since childhood, because they all grew up in Dresden’s Neustadt (postcode 01099).
In 2021, 01099 have shown that they are the newcomer act of the decade: The Dachfenster EP has reached #9 in the album charts and is now awarded two gold records for the main singles “Frisch” and “Durstlöscher”.
In addition, the band was included in Spotify’s RADAR program for the most exciting newcomers and there were nominations for the 1Live Krone and the New Music Award as best newcomer act.

After the singles “Jacke zu”, “2000er” and “Schnelle Brille”, the long-awaited album “Altbau” was released on 25.03. with the focus track “Glücklich”, for which the guys teamed up with none other than CRO. The song peaked at number 3 in the Spotify charts and has been in the top 100 for 8 weeks, on TikTok there are thousands and thousands of creations for the song.
The band is building on these milestones, including an extensive festival season full of headlining slots, with their biggest tour to date with over 50,000 visitors, which will take place in May 2023.
