Fury in the Slaughterhouse is one of the most successful German rock bands with English-language songs. Founded in 1987 in Hanover around the brothers Kai and Thorsten Wingenfelder, the band became known with “Time to Wonder” (1988) and “Won’t Forget These Days” (1990). The album “Mono” (1993) with “Radio Orchid” and “Every Generation Got Its Own Disease” reached number 12 in the German charts and gold; in total, the band sold over four million albums.
After the farewell tour in 2008, Fury returned in 2017 for the 30th anniversary and has since been more successful than ever: “Now” climbed to number 2 in 2021, “Hope” to number 1 in the German album charts in 2023. In 2026, the album “Changes” was released.
Live, Fury stands for honest, anthemic rock and big choruses that the audience sings along word for word. This makes the band a reliable headliner for festivals and open airs.
