They are a real “fun factory” that produced one summer hit after another in the 90s.
It all started for the Fun Factory in 1992.
The party combo around frontman and rapper Tony Cottura landed in the charts for the first time in 1994 with the Eurodance track “Close to you” and started a brilliant success story.
The follow-ups “Take your chance” and “Pain” also successfully entered the country’s hit parades and clubs.
They then became known worldwide with the album “Fun-Tastic” and the summer hits “I want to b with u” and “Celebration” – two relaxed reggae-style singles that spread their good mood into the US charts.
A little later, the Fun Factory showed their versatility with the party board “Doh Wah Diddy”, a good-mood track that was awarded gold in Germany and with which the band reached the top 10 for the first time.
This was followed by “Don ́t go away” and “I love you”, further singles from the successful album.
The band then toured the world in changing line-ups and released more albums and singles.
Since 2015, Balja, Smooth T. and Steve, three members of the first hour, have been back and the first joint single “Lets get crunk” brings the spirit of the 90s into the here and now.
This is followed by the songs “Turn it up” and the new album “Back to the Factory”. They are back.
In 2021, the new song “Memories” will be released, with which they enrich the clubs and festivals in addition to old and new songs and bring every event to a boil.
