There is no second voice like this. Deep, raw, unmistakable – Marla Glen doesn’t fit into any pigeonhole, and that’s exactly what makes her concerts experiences.

The American from Chicago was discovered in Europe in the early nineties and found her largest audience in Germany. “Cost of Freedom” and “Believer” made her famous in 1993, and the debut album sold hundreds of thousands of copies. Musically, she moves between blues, soul and jazz and goes her own way, regardless of fashions.

Live she is on stage with her band and plays the harmonica. No playback, no choreography, no compromises – just an artist who gives her all every night and an audience that comes for exactly that.

For club stages, festivals and cultural events. In the German-speaking world, a name with a loyal, enthusiastic audience.
