Marius lives near Düsseldorf. Since completing his music studies in Arnhem (NL) in 2019, he has been working as a professional saxophonist. He primarily performs in the Cologne and Düsseldorf area, but is also booked throughout Germany and internationally.
Music has accompanied Marius all his life. He started taking saxophone lessons at the age of 10. From 2015 to 2019 he studied jazz and pop saxophone in Arnhem (NL) and completed a comprehensive musical education with various renowned lecturers. During his studies, he had numerous live performances and played with various formations and bands, which significantly shaped his musical development. His style covers a wide range from funk, soul and jazz to hip hop, reggae, pop, EDM and chart hits.
Marius’ repertoire ranges from classic jazz and pop standards to current party hits and chart remixes. Whether it’s a romantic atmosphere in the church at weddings, a relaxed champagne reception, a jazzy dinner or a boisterous party – he always has the right song ready to create the perfect atmosphere and spread a good mood.
Since 2020, Marius has been playing regularly with Lukas, known as DJ Herr Lude. Their sets, some of which they produce themselves, offer a rousing mix of electronic house music and hip tracks in fresh remixes – ideal for unforgettable party nights and the best atmosphere.
It gives Marius great pleasure to be on stage and to inspire and entertain people with his music. In addition to his performances, he teaches two days a week at a music school. Together with his best friend Andre Schnura, he founded the company “Stalaxy”, through which they sell matt black saxophones.
