Interactive was founded in 1990 by Ramon Zenker and Jens Lissat, initially as a studio project and was one of the first German techno projects with their release “The Techno Wave”. For the next production “No Control” they brought Marc Innocent as singer to support their vocals. This also gave rise to the idea that Marc and Ramon Interactive would present as a live act.
With “Who Is Elvis” they made their national and international breakthrough in 1992 and made it into the sales charts of several countries as one of the first pure techno productions. In 1994, Ramon decided to work only in the studio and Marc presented Interactive to the outside world alone.
During this time, they also achieved their biggest hit, which was even awarded gold: “Forever Young”. This was followed by other hits such as “Living Without Your Love” and “Tell Me When”. After working with changing singers from 1996 onwards, Ramon stopped the project for the time being in 2002.
But since Ramon and Marc had been in contact again and again during this time, they decided in 2016 – 25 years after their first appearance – to revive Interactive and celebrated an acclaimed comeback at the biggest 90s party in Germany, “Die 90er – Live On Stage”, in Mannheim.
Interactive live is now presented as a combination of DJ mix & live vocals.
