“Moving On Up”, “One Night in Heaven”, “Search for the Hero”, “Sight for Sore Eyes”: house beats, carried by soul vocals that give weight to each title. In 1994, the band won the Mercury Prize, the most important British music award, with “Elegant Slumming”. Solo, Small landed a title with “Proud” that is still played today at Olympic Games, sporting events and campaigns.
