Diana Sorbello started her career at the preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest, when she competed together with the Grand Prix experienced group Wind as “DIANA & WIND” in front of a large TV audience live in Bremen (that was the legendary Guildo Horn year!).
After this entry into the music world, the daughter of a Sicilian ice cream parlor owner first completed her studies in sociology.
Since then, she has devoted herself fully to her greatest passion, music! Her first album “Bittersüss” was released with the newly recorded classic “Ich fange nie mehr was an einem Sonntag an”, which she presented in the ARD show of Florian Silbereisen, among others. Diana conquered the Media Control Charts, Radio Airplay and DJ Charts with German cover versions of Italian hits, such as: “Mamma Maria”, “Das ist, weil ich dich liebe (Sara perche ti amo)” and her own songs, such as “Undercover Lover”. For over 50 weeks in the charts in the official DJ hit parade, Diana Sorbello has already been awarded the DJ Award.
The album “Dolce Vita – Sweet Life” also stands for joie de vivre and danceable pop hits! In many TV music shows, such as the ZDF Fernsehgarten, Diana Sorbello is always welcome.
