The Eurodance career of the top act “Cappella” began in 1987 and was produced by Gianfranco Bortolotti and caused a worldwide sensation in the clubs and charts. In 1993, cappella’s biggest hit to date, “U got 2 let the music”, stormed to number 3 in Germany, and even to number 2 in England. This was followed by 9 more top ten hits and 3 No.1 hits throughout Europe. To this day, cappella are famous for hits such as “Move on Baby” or “U&Me”. Like many Eurodance bands, cappella disbanded in 1999, but the music lived on through DJs and producers from all over the world, who immortalized their hits in samples and mixes, and so many cappella hits are still world-famous today.
The sensation is finally perfect, because Cappella are back. Of course, they have their big hits in their luggage and are also working on new songs. Producer Gianfranco Bortolotti and manager Matt Wynter have won two top-class new faces for Cappella in Marcus & Lis, who as award-winning singers, songwriters and performers entered the top 20 in the UK with their debut single in 2009 and completed over 200 live shows. Now Marcus & Lis are the new faces of Cappella and will delight old and new fans.
