The East German success story begins, as is so often the case, with a YouTube channel on which Finch uploads his songs in 2014. The enthusiasm is huge and the fan base is growing.
In 2017, his first single “Richtig saufen” was released.
It quickly becomes clear – Finch hits the bull’s eye with his love of the East. He plays with the symbols of the East, is a Union fan, likes to drink Pfeffi and loves to eat Kasseler. Alternatively, the Mett roll will do the trick.
This was followed in 2018 by his first chart hit “Abfahrt”, which can be found on the debut album “Dorfdisko”. And suddenly everything is clear – Finch is where he belongs – at number 2 in the album charts.
The next album “Finchis Love Tape”, which will be released in 2020, will also end up there.
And once you’ve reached the top, the stars are also queuing up for the “Rummelbums”. This is the title of the album, on which Finch releases joint tracks with Scooter (“Bassdrum”), Blümchen (“Herzalarm”) or SDP (“Liebe ist…”), among others, all of which catapult themselves into the charts in a good mood.
His album “DORFDISKOZWEI” landed directly at number 1 in the German album charts.
The man in the tracksuit has a firm grip on the parties, not only in the East.
He regularly causes an absolute state of emergency in the Megapark on Mallorca and lets the masses in front of the stage fall into absolute ecstasy at festivals such as Parookaville.
There are no more superlatives – Finch has them all.
