Frontman Ian Campbell got the nickname “Ice” from his initials and took off internationally for the first time in 1989 as ICE MC with his single “Easy”. Success was not long in coming. His studio album “Ice n green” contained 3 more megahits, because “Take away the colour”, “Think about the way” and “It’s a rainy day” also entered the international charts.
In 1996, the follow-up album Dreadatour was released, which was produced by the 90s stars Masterboy, among others, and presented the next chart hit with “Give me the light”.
Today, ICE MC is back on stage with a singer and presents a grandiose journey back in time to his hits of the 90s.
