E-Rotic

They are among the ultimate representatives of 90s music: E-ROTIC. With “Max, Don’t Have Sex With Your Ex”, “Fred, Come To Bed”, “Willy, Use A Billy … Boy” and “Sex On The Phone”, the formation delivered unforgettable classics of the dancefloor era. And not only in Germany, Austria, Switzerland – their songs also regularly entered the charts in Great Britain, France, Scandinavia, South America and even Japan. Not only their clearly ambiguous lyrics were cult, but also the distinctive, cheeky and frivolous cartoon videos. Anyone who thinks of the songs still automatically has these comic strips in their heads today.

Now, 20 years later, they are back and make the start of the current 90s retro wave! With the new single “Video Starlet” E-ROTIC celebrates its comeback … and after some line-up changes in the past, now again with the original singer, Lyane Leigh! For the band’s anniversary, she and producer David Brandes have reunited to revive the sound that was formative for an entire generation. Fortunately, they did not try to imitate the earlier songs, but created a fresh, modern continuation of the musical story of E-ROTIC.

As a stage partner, they found a new face in the rapper, actor and dancer Stephen Appleton. Performances in Germany, Finland, the Czech Republic and Russia are already on the schedule. After the single release in spring, a new album is finally planned in the course of 2016.
