Behind the Eurodance artists ACTIVATE are the two producers and songwriters T.O.M. and MIKE RED as well as the pretty, talented and media-savvy singer NANNI.
Together, T.O.M. and MIKE can look back on an eventful and successful history with more than 4.5 million records sold.
The two started their first step into the music business in 1994 with the artist formation ACTIVATE. Overnight, “LET THE RHYTHM TAKE CONTROL” became one of the club anthems of the year. Their follow-up “BEAT OF THE DRUM” was an invitation to escape everyday life on every dance floor in the world. The breakthrough into the official Media Control sales charts came in 1995 with the hit “SAVE ME A PLACE IN YOUR HEART”. The song literally drilled into the hearts of countless fans in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Scandinavia, East Asia and South America. With “SAY WHAT I WANT”, the 4th hit single, ACTIVATE consolidated themselves as notable artists of the 90s.
25 years later, NANNI, MIKE and T.O.M. are still ACTIVE in the original line-up and tour around the globe to continue to revive the spirit they spread with their hits back then.
Fittingly, their current release “SPOTLIGHT” is a mix of contemporary beats ‘n’ drums and a typical 90s melody line.
