It has been a meteoric rise that Mike Candys has made in the last two years. First his debut single “One Night in Ibiza” received gold in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, then the follow-up single “2012 (If The World Would End)” topped the whole thing with gold awards in Austria and Germany as well as platinum in Switzerland. Since then, Mike Candys has been one of the most important and successful electro house producers in Europe and the whole world. He not only produces fantastic electronic music, but also his performances, where he mostly plays his own tracks, remixes and bootlegs and performs with the significant smiley mask, are legendary and inspire the crowd all over the globe. The success of his tracks also attracted the attention of other music greats and he has already produced or remixed Lil Jon feat. LMFAO, Example, Lucenzo & Pitbull, Inna & Flo Rida, Peter Heppner, Rosenstolz and DJ Antoine. His international reputation is also reflected in various awards and nominations. His debut album “Smile” was nominated as “Best Dance Album National” at the annual Swiss Music Awards. In 2011 and 2012, nominations at the Swiss Music Awards and the Swiss Nightlfe Awards followed. His biggest line-up to date was probably the MTV European Music Award 2012. Personally, the producer, DJ and remixer has entered the Top 100 DJs of DJ Mag, the most important international ranking for DJs, which he entered at #86. One of his first pranks, “Insomnia”, has now reached platinum in Switzerland. Mike Candys is currently nominated for the Fun Radio Best European DJ Award with Avicii, Nicky Romero, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren and Hardwell. The mastermind has also been running his successful label Wombat Music for years, on which most of his tracks are released. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
