In April 2009, 27 years after its initial release, ABC performed the album “The Lexicon Of Love” in its entirety to a sold-out audience at London’s renowned Royal Albert Hall. The performance, which was introduced by producer Trevor Horn and accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra, not only saw a reunion with Martin Fry, David Palmer and Trevor Horn, but also with then-background singer Tessa Niles and Oscar-winning musician Anne Dudley, who had originally orchestrated the album and conducted the orchestra that evening. <\/p>\n\n
2012 was a professional and personal highlight for Martin: more than 30 years after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a degree in English Literature, he returned to be awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Music for his contribution to music.<\/p>\n\n
