When Philip David Charles “Phil” Collins was born on January 30, 1951 in Chiswick (Great Britain), no one would have expected the brilliant successes he would one day celebrate. Where for many a single number 1 hit marks the peak of a career, Phil Collins is just beginning: Grammy awards, Golden Globe awards and even an Oscar can call Phil his own.

Be it with Genesis or as a solo artist, Phil Collins hits the bull’s eye and into the hearts of his fans. Whenever his hits are heard, whether on the road on the radio, live, or in private at home; people know his songs, his stories, sing along and connect their stories with the music that has accompanied them through all situations for many years.

Each musician in the band has their own unique experience with the music of Phil Collins and Genesis. But above all, for the band, is the real meaning of the term “tribute”. Namely, respect, recognition and humility towards a great artist. Respect for a life’s work, a life story and the talent and influence of a man to whom this tribute show bows song after song.

The top credo is to reproduce the songs as they deserve. The band lives every harmony, every line of lyrics and every sound and wishes only one thing…”that our listeners can hear and feel our respect for the original. And maybe there are moments when someone in the audience closes their eyes and thinks “That reminds me of…”” That’s why they perform with this program, that’s their applause.
