SahneMixx

Udo Jürgens has passed away… but his songs remain immortal! SahneMixx presents the music of the exceptional artist in orchestral format and inspires the audience again and again with perfect live sound and great voices. Awarded the German Rock & Pop Prize 2005 & 2010 and ennobled by Udo’s personal recognition, SahneMixx has undisputedly developed into Europe’s best Udo Jürgens show. As early as spring 2003, the musicians Hubby Scherhag, Achim Brochhausen and Micky Koll came up with the idea of paying homage to Udo Jürgens and his incomparable musical work. With the support of some of the best professional musicians in Germany, the project, which was extremely demanding in all respects, was finally brought to the stage under the name SahneMixx. Frontman Hubby Scherhag embodies the great entertainer so perfectly that the audience feels transported to a real Udo concert, and not “only” with their eyes closed. From the grandiose music, the great voices and the brilliant orchestral sound, to the white grand piano, the red jacket lining and the typical Udo gestures, to the long legendary “bathrobe finale”, even the smallest detail is right here. The role model Udo Jürgens soon convinced himself personally of the musical qualities of the SahneMixx orchestra. After just a few months, there was a reaction in the form of a personal letter in which Udo expressed his joy about SahneMixx. Further personal meetings followed, most recently in November 2014 in Trier. “I’ve Never Been to New York”, “But Please with Cream”, “Greek Wine”, “Seventeen Years”, “Honorable House”, “Merci Chérie”, “At 66 Years”, and and and … SahneMixx presents all these hits and much more with infectious joy of playing in a rousing stage show and thus regularly ensures a completely enthusiastic audience.
