Discovered in Avignon in the mid-sixties, Mireille Mathieu recorded over a thousand songs in more than ten languages. In Germany, she became a fixture in the big Saturday evening shows with “Der Pariser Tango”, “Akropolis adieu” and “Hinter den Kulissen von Paris” and is still unforgotten today.
Her voice is powerful, crystal clear and wonderfully directed, her performance follows the great French chanson tradition. She performs live with orchestra or band, the program combines German successes with the French repertoire.
