“Kids in America” made Kim Wilde famous overnight in 1981 and has been running continuously in films, series and radio shows ever since. “Chequered Love”, “Cambodia” and “View from a Bridge” followed, and in 1986 she reached number one in the USA with her version of “You Keep Me Hangin’ On”. Over thirty million records sold, plus tours as the opening act for Michael Jackson and David Bowie.
