In 1999, the Hermes House Band turned “I Will Survive” into a stadium choir and followed up with “Country Roads” and “Live Is Life” – well-known melodies, wind instruments, sing-along factor one hundred percent. For over twenty years, the band has been part of the basic equipment at folk festivals and in après-ski formats.
In the same year, Lou Bega landed a worldwide number one hit with “Mambo No. 5”, which sold millions of copies. “I Got a Girl” and “Tricky, Tricky” followed, and to this day he performs with a horn section and fifties elegance.
Together, this results in a program for the moment when an event becomes a party. Beer tent, city festival, company party, après-ski: Here, people don’t watch, people join in.
