Caught in the Act was one of the most famous boy groups of the 90s.
From the moment the boys get a role in the biggest German RTL soap opera “Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten”, they are the super idols for millions of pubescent girls. The single “Love Is Everywhere” becomes a super hit with 500,000 copies sold. This is the beginning of worldwide success. Numerous big single and album hits follow. The boys grace the covers of all important pop magazines, are on television every day, and their songs are played everywhere. In addition to gold and platinum awards, they also receive the Golden Lion, several BRAVO Awards and other important pop and entertainment awards. In August 1998, the boy group goes their separate ways after years of success and millions of records sold. At a very emotionally charged farewell concert in Magdeburg, the group sings all the hits for thousands of fans one last time. This is also the moment when the guys from CITA stand together on stage for the last time.
Last summer, the boys saw each other again for the first time after 17 years. Eloy: “It was great to see each other again and it was fascinating to see that the chemistry is still there after so many years.” Now, so many years later, the boys have a plan: The teen idols of yesteryear will go back on stage in 2016. With their tour LOVE IS EVERYWHERE 2016, they will not only perform their own hits, such as Love Is Everywhere, My Arms Keep Missing You, You Know, Babe and Baby Come Back on stage in November and December, but also big hits by other artists. The comeback was celebrated together with several million fans and spectators at the big New Year’s Eve celebration Welcome 2016 – New Year’s Eve at the Brandenburg Gate, which was broadcast live by ZDF. The boys sang a medley of their greatest hits, as well as a brand new version of their hit Love is Everywhere. Lee: “We are excited and honored to be able to celebrate our comeback in Berlin in front of so many people. Let’s show the world that Love Is Everywhere!”
