CUT’N’MOVE is a 5-time Grammy Award-winning Pop 90’s band from Denmark. They brought the dancefloor to Denmark and sold more than 2 million records worldwide.
The success story started in 1991 with the smash hits “Get Serious” and “Spread Love”, both of which entered the Top Ten of the US Dance Charts and Billboard Top 100 – a Danish band hadn’t achieved that for over a decade.
In 1992, the group released their next album and took the world by storm, selling over a million copies of their single, “Give it Up” from their album “Peace, Love & Harmony” – a remake of the KC & the Sunshine Band classic.
The single shot straight into the top 15 of the German charts and earned them a gold record in Germany.
The rest of the world followed and the single quickly rose to the top of the charts across Europe. In Australia, they reached record platinum sales and reached number 1, where they stayed for eight consecutive weeks.
The band began touring worldwide, especially in Germany, where they performed with other stars of the 90s such as Haddaway, Dr. Alban, 2 Unlimited, DJ Bobo and Culture Beat.
Their next album “The Sound of Now” with the big hit “I’m Alive” was also a great success and took the band on tours through Scandinavia, Germany, England, Scotland, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Austria and Australia.
In 1996 the band disbanded, but the two founding members Mc Zipp and Zindy met again in 2015 and began to build on the success of the 90s and now perform again at the biggest 90s festivals in the world.
